Summary
When Mike thought nothing could get worse, Fate took it up as a challenge.
But now, instead of being hunted by the Mind Flayer, Mike's own body is his biggest enemy. He gets diagnosed with cancer. But he's fine. He'll just deal with this on his own. His mom and Nancy are enough. He can deal with the whirlwind of doctors and needles and IVs and feelings as long as his friends are happy. As long as they don't realize that even after all they've been through, one of them is still dying.
But the upside-down isn't done yet. As Mike goes crazy over his feelings for Will, it strikes again. How is Mike going to survive this next attack, now by a human-turned monster named Vecna, when he is already fighting his own personal battle? But more importantly, how is Mike going to confront his feelings for Will in this chaos?

Summary
Two years after Vecna finally met his end, the Party moves onto College. Trauma-bonding has it's positives, and all six members of their party stick together through the transition.
Now, how did he get here, Will Byers wonders. Never in his life would he imagine walking into his and Mike’s shared apartment with his best friend in the lap of another person.
At first, Will just assumed that Mike and his hookup came back to the apartment for the first time ever, and the girl liked having scrawny boys in her lap. He’s not one to assume, okay?! Just because he’s gay, doesn’t mean he can judge heterosexuals!
He would have brushed it off and snuck back out the door, but as he turned to leave- their cat meowed loudly, disrupting Mike and his chair.
Will looked up, prepared to introduce himself to the girl and apologize to his best friend, when there was definitely not a girl there.
In fact- the opposite of a girl was bracing Mike firmly around his thighs and waist. A bulky brunet glared at him from underneath the curly-haired boy, clearly unhappy at being disturbed.
Will Byers moved onto college fully expecting typical teenage shit- not Mike Wheeler kissing boys.

Till doesn’t flinch again, but he does stop breathing. He looks up into Ivan’s shadowed face, seeing his tight jaw and dark eyes. He looks more like a heavily shaded gothic Victorian painting than a living person. Till’s fingers twitch with the sudden urge to grab a brush.
“Ivan?” Till whispers.
Ivan exhales slowly between his teeth. “Grab your things,” he says finally. “You’re coming home with me.”
When Ivan and Till broke up seven years ago, Till really thought they'd never see each other again. Till didn't expect Ivan to follow him back to their old high school.
