Summary
Aymeric and Hien are newfound friends. They eventually realize that they have a lot of common ground after partaking in a meeting on behalf of the Alliance for mutual benefits to their respective regions, and they decide to celebrate their hard work with a drink or two.
Except that Hien perhaps goes further than he anticipated, and they both quickly realize that for better or worse, there may be no going back to the way things were before.

Bang, bang...bang.
A massive sheet of rock, close to where the stone pillar once stood, shattered and avalanched in a honey-thick moment of soundless crashing and clattering as rock flaked and turned to grey petals to reveal darkness behind where the stone curtain once stood. In that darkness, something moved. Something colossal, chitinous, something that chittered deeply in the black it lived in, and something that was powerful and determined enough to tear an entire tunnel through solid stone.
“Wh... what is that thing?”
When a guild job goes wrong, Karol, Raven, and Yuri must survive escaping the Weasand of Cados while dealing with dwindling supplies, falling rocks, and a tenacious crab in order to escape the cave. Sounds pretty tense, right? Well, you'd be surprised with how light-hearted the Vesperia boys can be even when stuck underground and surrounded by monsters. They even get to have a couple of much-needed talks along the way.
Post-Game fic, Spoilers. A found-family fic that has its slow-paced moments and culminates in becoming an actual family.
