He felt her hands over him, shaking his shoulders, “Harry? Harry!”
He swatted at her, pushing her arms away, “Geroff, Hermione! I’m hungover enough as is,” he said, groaning as his temples throbbed once more.
“What?”
“I said I’m hungover enough! Stop–”
His cheek burned furiously. Hermione had slapped him.
He bolted up, turning to her with his mouth agape, “What the fuck?”
“Oh, you idiot! You’re not hungover, we’re–we’re…bloody fucked,” she said, her hands covering her eyes. “We are so, horrendously fucked.”Harry and Hermione find themselves stuck in 1976 due to a Horcrux turned portkey turned time-turner, with no way to get home. In an effort make it back to present day and continue plotting Voldemort's demise, Hermione hatches a plan that requires her to befriend Regulus Black. And no, despite what Harry may suggest, whoring herself out is far beyond her moral caliber.

Summary
Since the beginning of time, humankind have been privy to a phenomenon unique to Earth; magic that allows those who are destined for one another to meet. Everyone has a soulmate, and the Soulbond makes them possible to find - the only caveat being that the Soulbond only activates if a Bonded Pair happen to come within a certain proximity to each other. With 8 billion people on the planet, the odds of running into your Soulmate seem pretty impossible...
But then again, so does the entire concept of the Soul Swap: the universe's magical GPS that lets you know that you're within a couple hundred miles of your Soulmate.
Not that any of it matters for someone like Lance. He's long given up on dreams of finding his One and Only, and besides! He's headed off to space; not necessarily by choice, sure - but it wasn't like he's going to find his Soulmate up in the stars.

If you ever asked why Lance joined the garrison he would say because he wanted to be a pilot. But the real reason was because he longed for the stars. As cheesey as it was it was his real home. And even though now he's in the stars, he's too far to truely reach them in a way his heart desires.
