Jean Kirschtein is not entirely sure why they need someone to clean the pool when no-one ever seems to swim in the darn thing, but when his socialite mother just can't stop ogling the new pool boy, Jean realises she might not be the only one.
Apparently balancing a growing relationship with the freckled pool boy is harder than it looks, when coupled with a more than dysfunctional family life, a cheating scumbag for a father, and a seriously lonely existence.
An AU of equal measures fluff and angst featuring pool cleaning, roof-top smoking, lots of parental problems, and mainly shirtless Marco.

“That all sounded like bad news. What about the good news?” Erwin spat bitterly, not confident that there was any.
“The good news is that I found a jockey for Scout! Have you ever heard of a rider named Levi Ackerman?”
Erwin actually had to pause to think about that. The name Ackerman did ring a bell, but he didn’t think he knew of a Levi with that name. “Wasn’t there that big trainer Ackerman who was in some scandal or something? That was like twenty years ago, though. This Levi have any relation?”
Erwin could practically hear Hange’s shrug over the phone. “I don’t know man, I found him in the jockey’s room, said he didn’t have a horse for the Juveniles, so I said ‘you do now.’ That’s the extent of my knowledge. But I told him about Scout and I figure it’s better than having to scratch.
Erwin owns an underdog racehorse and meets a mysterious jockey along the way to the Triple Crown.

Y/N works at a convenience store that cigarette smoking sideburns having Tim Wright frequents. Ever since Y/N first interacted with him, they have started to see things. Y/N is drawn into his world, whether influenced by The Operator or not. "Curiosity killed the cat." He says, but what happens if someone with a bit of brazen (and possibly foolish) curiosity is just what Tim needs in his darkest hours?

WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR MARBLE HORNETS!!! I will try to make it easy for people that haven't seen the series to follow along :)
