Tempted by his roommates' tales of life with siblings, Durham volunteers for his obligatory extra-curricular. His choice is to enroll as a 'big brother' for someone in need of one. However... that means now he has someone looking to him as an example. Could he - the gruff, scary-faced coyote with a tinge of unapologetic ego and a mischievous streak - ever be the right fit? He just does what he can, unsure about his reputation and what it means to those around him.
After all, nobody contests that he's earned it; perhaps... he might just realize that's a bigger deal than he thinks, with the help of his friends and the young coyote paired with him as his 'little brother'.

Always glad to read some fluff about the 701 canine bois, and this chatfic perfectly captures the chaotic energy we glimpsed the (far too) few times they were on screen - definitely worth reading for the wonderful humor and the quirky characteristics!
