After Matt, Tom, and Tord left in the morning, Edd thought that it was going to be a normal day of animating. When everyone seemingly dissappeared from the world, and strange beings began flooding the neighborhood, Edd fled to his bedroom to contemplate his life. Or possibly the end of it...
(In this AU, there was no End, nor did Tord ever leave the group. Tom and Tord can interact like friends that have an enemy complex. The monsters aren't exactly zombies, they were based upon the look of the Silent Hill creatures.)

When Robert goes out to get drinks with the Z team he expects an uneventful night, but with them nothing is ever uneventful. When Robert's drink accidentally gets swapped with Sonar's spiked one, Herm is determined to take care of his boss before he can embarrass himself too badly. This should be a relatively simple task, but Robert's determination to get Herm into bed is complicating matters.
In which Robert gets high and Herm fights valiantly to resist his charms and is rewarded for his restraint.

Oracle is back to watching, probing, slipping through the cracks and quietly menacing Robert and his allies. Subtle, patient, invasive. He reaches for Robert through systems, through the people around him. And his menace will not stop until he is either caught or he escalates and makes good on his obsession.

Summary
Too busy being Mechaman to ever be Robert, the omega. On the strongest suppressants his dwindling inheritance can buy, and then none when that eventually runs out too. Robert struggles to navigate life through the lens of a "normie". Someone who can't fall back on being a superhero in order to avoid his biology. He never expected to live this long to suffer the consequences of the abuse he put his body through constantly. Now, he's dealing with ex-super villains and trying to help them in their rehabilitation while suffering through a hormonal hurricane.
Luckily, or unluckily, depending on how you view it, his team is comprised of mostly single alphas who are all too happy to ogle their new dispatcher, who screams emotional baggage. Now just to see who can crack the sarcastic ass dispatcher first, and maybe do their jobs along the way.

Robert Robertson never wanted to be an omega. It got in the way, complicated things. That's why he's been on suppressants since he presented. Seventeen years later and his body is breaking under the strain. He needs to stop taking them. Robert isn't good at taking care of himself on the best of days. How is he supposed to deal with the challenge of learning how to deal with his secondary gender?
Herman has always liked his boss. He thinks Robert is a great man, a great hero. Robert is kind and patient and understanding and always makes Herm's day better, so when Robert reveals that he's an omega Herman's instincts go into overdrive. He wants to care for Robert, in whatever form the other man will accept.
In which Robert finds it difficult to accept help but Waterboy persists.
