"Hey, the fuck are you doing back there?"
"Shit shit shit- abort!" Kian sprinted over, pushing past Mr Gas and grabbing Rand's hand before basically dragging him outside.

Summary
Rand had always been the fucked up sibling. Not only his brain, but his body had been failing him as well.
He didn't know which one of his parents he got it from, but if he wasn't enough of a failure already, he couldn't even breathe right.
Of course, he didn't know the words. Just that he would lose fights while desperately trying to suck in air, or always ended up hyperventilating when crying.
He just chalked it up to being out of shape.
