Rand walked back to their house in disbelief. Happy, but mostly disbelief. He… actually did it? Like, he actually got a job? He actually stayed a month sober? And a good thing happened? He didn’t know that could happen to him.
His smile creeped up on him. Before he knew it he was sprinting home to tell Rolan the good news. As soon as he got to the front door of his house, he put his hands on his knees and bent over, trying to catch his breath. Definetly wasn’t twenty anymore.
