Summary
Sirius ran away from home when he was sixteen. Regulus didn't have to run away at that age, he had someone to save him, someone to get him out.
Sirius is twenty-one years old and not a proper adult, but he still decides to create a good home for his little brother, a safe home. After five long years of separation, he drags Regulus out of that cursed house and begins to build a new future, a better future. He would do anything for his little brother, always his little brother.
Except... Regulus doesn't know him, all he knows is that Sirius is an adult and adults are cruel, all of them.
Will they somehow get along, will they become brothers again?

But it may be Reg's fault that he sent one back, disguised as Sirius because.. he's got a grudge, and Reg holds those things like no tomorrow.
James, However, is none-the-wiser. And now Regulus has to keep up the charade of being his idiotic brother because embarrassment is worse than writing back.

The game had been Sirius’ idea, of course. Bored out of his mind during one of their seventh year lessons on Veritaserum, Sirius had decided that nothing would be more entertaining than forcing their friend group to take turns under the influence of the truth potion. It had been chaos from the start, with Sirius volunteering to go first to prove it wasn’t a big deal—only to end up confessing his feelings for Remus when someone had cheekily asked if he was in love.
Since then, the game had become a regular feature of their hangouts, and James had been dodging his turn like his life depended on it. There were too many questions he didn’t want to answer, too many truths that hit too close to home.
