Summary
After years of living on the streets, one gains a sixth sense for danger. Not for malicious purposes, but rather born out of the sole necessity to live the next 24 hours. Sometimes this sense could get you into trouble, or involved in things you could've avoided. The question that remains is whether one can deal with the trouble that's flamboyantly dressed in crimson and overly dramatic.

Summary
Smoothly, he turned around and stepped back. The gun, previously pointed unwaveringly at Chloe, came level with Kamski’s forehead. Connor’s expression didn’t change.
“Are you capable of fear, Mr. Kamski?” Connor asked calmly, his LED still a burning red.
Kamski’s eyes had gone wide with surprise, his mouth falling slightly open. Hank had gone silent.
“If you can’t prove that you are,” Connor continued, his core temperature rising uncontrollably and his breath becoming deeper and heavier to match, “does that mean I can kill you?”

Summary
That’s a draw to Lyney, a gravitational attraction.
The simple explanation would be that he reminds her of her brother. The even simpler explanation would be that he’s dazzling—is made to dazzle, to lure, to distract, by the very nature of his profession. Like a shining conch lying at the floor of the ocean, leading Lumine astray from her initial quest in favour of running her hand over its spiny, glittering surface. Perhaps the distraction is why it aches a little less, letting herself get carried by the roar of the gasps and cheers and applause of the crowd.
However, Lyney is more than just a magician donning a top hat; he embodies the concept well, but he’s only human. Capable of performing, just as capable of being hurt.
And sometimes, he looks at her strangely. After his performance ends, when the afterglow has worn off, when the adrenaline has dissipated, he always glances at her, a little sad of eye.
or: how to unperform.

Summary
No king rules forever, of course, and I know that one day I will be chosen as "Father's" successor…
It has been years since Fontaine and its people were submerged in the sea. After the death of Arlecchino, Lyney has taken her place as the new Knave, and the new "Father" of the House of the Hearth. As Teyvat’s endgame approaches, Lyney must battle extremist rebels, fellow Harbingers, and even the gods themselves, but his greatest foe is still the sea of trauma and abuse in which he still drowns to this day.
