Summary
An alternate take on canon to give Edelgard the story she deserved and the house leaders the friendship they should've had with a heavy, HEAVY emphasis on Yurileth. It starts with Azure Moon, but adds in Verdant Wind's and Silver Snow's unique chapters while also yoinking lore from Crimson Flower and a dash of Cindered Shadows before mixing on high for sixty years.
There's a tiny bit of Three Hopes, but only really adding Shez, Arval, Epimenides, Holst, and (actual) Monica to the main plot of Three Houses.
Hopefully that'll draw your attention enough to give it a try? Idk. More notes in the fic because I only get like, 1k for a summary.
EDIT: I also just noticed that I tagged this thing with 'starts Azure Gleam' instead of 'Azure Moon,' but editing tags is a hassle. I promise I mean Azure Moon, lol.

Summary
Yuri was usually very good about managing his time. He would occasionally go to bars after his restaurant closed with his friends, Balthus, Hapi, and Constance, but he'd only ever have a drink or two and call it a night. He most definitely did not get drunk and wind up making out with a hot stranger in the bar's restroom. As a small business owner in a very competitive market, he had to maintain a respectable appearance and prove he could handle the work. That part might just be in his own head, but keeping up with appearances never hurt anything.
Either way, it was entirely out of character for him to leave with said stranger. Or, well, it was out of character since he'd finished culinary school and decided he had to actually be an adult. It didn't matter if this stranger was incredibly hot or had the prettiest blue eyes or that he had solid abs or actual scars like a fucking badass.
Okay, it did matter since it meant he still had good taste, but he was bothered that he couldn't remember his name or how they'd met, exactly.
...
Or: Yuri got drunk and accidentally fell in love with someone as broken as he was, leaving him feeling whole for the first time in nearly fifteen years.

Summary
Soulmates.
He wasn't entirely sure what the word meant, but it was supposedly a life-changing thing to find yours. Supposedly, the goddess split souls in two or more pieces so they could fit in a human body or something—hell if he paid attention to the scripture behind it—and now each soul fragment was left to wander Fódlan until they found their missing piece or pieces.

Byleth grew up terrified of soulmates and the reliance on another that they brought. Yuri was scorned by seemingly false promises of happiness and laughed at the concept of such bonds. Then these two recognize one another and everything goes to hell in a neat little handbasket.
