Summary
When Brennan introduced his sister to his friend and new boss, he didn’t expect he’d have to spend his time trying to keep them civil. But three years later, Violet and Xaden are still fighting and butting heads every time they meet, the dislike too strong for them to be friendly.
Now, at a company event to celebrate a milestone, Brennan puts his sister in Xaden's care for a short moment. What could go wrong?

Summary
“You want to have an heir?” The skepticism is palpable in his tone, as though he’s sure he must have misunderstood her. She doesn’t quite blame him.
“No,” she replies, painfully honest. “I want to have a baby, Xaden. But I’m willing to give you an heir.”
Lonely, desperate, and miserable, Violet’s life as reluctant queen of Tyrrendor in a post-war Aretia is less fairytale and more nightmare. When the husband she never asked for denies her the one last thing she’d hoped could improve her situation, she breaks.
A tale of love and despair – and of how sometimes you need to break completely in order to heal and then, eventually, live.

Summary
The last place Violet wants to be is on a road trip with former flame, Xaden Riorson. But when Ridoc calls her and begs her for her help with a rescue mission, she has no choice but to ride beside Xaden as they rescue Bodhi and Ridoc, and maybe rescue themselves, too, along the way.
“The bad part…” Ridoc sighs again. Violet loves him, she does, but the anticipation is about to kill her, because there’s only one remaining way for this situation to worsen. Normally, she’d dismiss this worst case scenario on principle, because her friends love her too much to subject her to this particular form of torture. But Ridoc, sweet, funny Ridoc, happens to be dating the cousin of Violet’s worst case scenario, and that complicates things.
“Ridoc,” Violet says, “Big girl voice.”
“I need you to come pick me up with Xaden Riorson.”

Summary
Violet Sorrengail is a highly effective political crisis consultant. Xaden Riorson is poised to win his late father's old senate seat. The hatred between the two runs deep, but its been years since their fiery classroom debates in college, and Violet was certain she'd never cross paths with him again, until her expertise is required to keep doctored stories that could sink Xaden's campaign from gaining traction just before the general election.
The chemistry is off-the-charts, the tension has every other staffer fleeing when the two end up in the same room, and the fire that existed between them is as hot as ever. But as time goes on, Violet begins to realize exactly how true the saying, "There's a thin line between love and hate," really is.
