Summary
Thanksgiving Day 1994 - Stevie Harrington leaves her parents house distraught after another fight about how she's raising her two children alone and the disgrace her divorce from Tommy Hagan has brought on the family. When her station wagon begins to act up and she breaks down on the icy, empty streets of Hawkins she thinks that this is just another bad event adding onto the pile that is her doomed life. When the gang approach Steve with ideas for a summer road trip, and Eddie wants to go to some big heavy metal festival in California, Steve ends up renting a Winnebago and mentally preparing for two and a half weeks of absolute torture.
Maybe two weeks of abstinence is the perfect opportunity Steve and Eddie need to actually talk about whatever is going on between them.
