When the witchers finally find him Geralt is nearly thrown into his rut and the two have to stick it out together after two years of their broken primals longing for each other. After the mountain, Jaskier decides to grant Geralt his “life blessing” and dies. Well, he doesn’t die per say, he masterfully fakes his death. The second purpose is, of course, to escape the track from Nilfgaard that wants to know where Geralt and Ciri are. But as months flows by, a new force arises from the North. The witchers create a new empire on the Continent behind the banner of the White Wolf.
All is, kind of, good until someone recognize him as being Jaskier, the White Wolf’s bard from before the warlord rises and decides to bait Geralt into a peace treaty using him. The bard is absolutely sure it is not going to work because Geralt doesn’t care, the mind behind the plot is sure it is going to work and it does work. It works really - really - well. Everything was quiet—scary quiet. He blinked his eyes open, his head throbbing, as he looked up at Hargrove, who stood before him, his eyes wide and his chest undulating rapidly.
Then, Steve’s eyes trailed down to the Demodog, wrapped in the blanket that was now lying on the floor between his legs. Its mouth and body were all exposed. Steve’s breath hitched, and when he looked up, Hargrove was staring at him.
"Harrington," Hargrove said, his eyes darkening and his pupils blown wide in disbelief, "what the fuck is that?"

Summary
Twelve years after the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry Potter, barely clinging to his reasons for being an auror, is asked by cursebreaker Draco Malfoy, his best friend and not-so-secret crush for the last decade, to help investigate a developing case at Hogwarts. Animals are showing up dead and the ghosts are acting "weird". After some investigation, it seems the concern was all a bit alarmist until the next full moon and they've got a human victim drained of blood and essence on their hands. Before they know it, they're knee-deep in dark magic, and Harry is in a race against time to find the culprit before Draco is taken as collateral.

Summary
After an altercation with his dad, Steve hides away in the pantry in his kitchen and calls for help on the walkie-talkie. Luckily, Eddie is awake and comes to the rescue, stealing Steve away to stay at the Munsons’ until it’s safe for Steve to go back. Steve hates when either of his parents come home to visit, especially when it’s his dad. It feels ridiculous to say but Steve thinks he’d rather face another Demogorgon.
A Demogorgon will smell blood in the water and kill on sight, but Mr. Harrington has a habit of dragging it out and making sure his prey knows they’re bleeding. The monsters under the bed are nothing compared to the monsters down the hall, Steve’s an expert. He’s known for a long time now how messed up it all is, he knows he needs out, needs help, but it feels impossibly hard. It’s normal for him and he’s dealt with it this long, he just needs to tough it out until he can afford his own place.
It doesn’t occur to Steve that he has a plethora of people willing to fight monsters at his side, whether the monsters are from the Upside Down or his own home. With the help of his monster hunting crew, Steve escapes his parents and learns what love is really supposed to be.

The words echo off of the bathroom tile and Eddie is as still as a statue. Nobody moves. Steve feels the mortification rising swiftly like water in a well and he wishes that he could drown in it. It doesn't let him, gathering in his chest and his cheeks and making his entire being tremble with its scope and scale.
Eddie’s quiet for probably ten solid seconds, his face utterly blank and impassive as he processes this statement.
Then he shrugs and starts undoing his belt.
