Inside Edward's rotten, decaying heart full of indescribable suffering and burning hatred, is seeded a craving, a shriveled, mewling little yearning he would never allow to get to the surface; a desperate and pathetic cry for attention and neediness for the love he has been so cruelly denied his entire life. The wish for a mommy and a daddy still, after all these years of torment and isolation, surfacing with every jealousy-filled gaze at happy-go-lucky families and every degenerate and fucked-up sexual fantasy his brain could fabricate. Even if Edward was agitated to admit it, he yearned for a domestic life more than anything, maybe, just maybe, even more than for the destruction of Gotham. But he kept those cravings hidden, neatly locked in a little box with all his other rotten secrets, and after all this time, rust was beginning to gather on the lock.
There was something domestic about this girl, and in Edward's deranged mind, something that could even qualify as motherly; he was intrigued.

So why did Oswald start having sleep problems? There were no reasons to be affraid of something. Or someone.
A healhy dose of paranoia was always acceptable, but this time Oswald felt this was something else. Somthing that won't go away so easily.
With more and more time Oswald became quite sure that he needs to find solution of his problems, whatever it takes.Action takes place somewhere between 2nd and 5th season.
