Daniel is back to being a struggling journalist after recovering from another drug relapse in his sunset years. He works as a massage therapist to pay the bills between writing gigs. "Did you mean it?" Artemy questions after a moment’s hesitation. Daniil furrows his brows, confused. He turns his head to peer behind his shoulder, but Artemy isn't meeting his eyes, looking past Daniil to stare at the wall instead. Huh, strange. Artemy isn’t the type to be bashful. Daniil nudges him with his shoulder, demanding attention.
"What are you talking about, Artemy? Hey, look at me."
Artemy huffs gently, making eye contact for a second before looking away again. He looks flushed, embarrassed almost, which makes Daniil grin. Not cruelly, of course, he finds it endearing if nothing else.
"You asked me to- to put a baby in you, Danya. Did you mean it?"
