Summary
As a kid, Lin Ling would sit at the window for hours, press his nose into the glass and watch as the snow piled up, centimeter by centimeter. Waiting until he’d judged there was enough out there to make a proper snowman. It became a tradition for him to build at least one a year, and he’d kept it up through his teens. Even now he catches himself staring out the window during the lulls in his work day, silently measuring against landmarks.
