“You have a solution to your girl problems?” Kojiro asked with a raised eyebrow, and Kaoru smiled almost innocently which could only mean bad news, that feeling in his gut worsening, “And this involves me how?”
“We’re going to start a rumour.” Kaoru said, and, just before Kojiro could ask what he meant, Kaoru let his hand slide over Kojiro’s shoulder and down his arm, and he decided he would follow Kaoru to the end of the world if he asked. And then, leaning in a little closer than was probably expected of friends, Kaoru said in such a low voice Kojiro almost didn’t hear him, “That we’re dating.”

So, this is fun. Sitting in a car with his best friend who has shot straight past pre-heat right into a full-throttled heat in the span of fifteen minutes is great. Definitely on the short list of Kojiro’s top life experiences. Definitely something he wants to experience again. Or, you know, would want to experience again if he were a complete masochist.
Kaoru came to him because he trusts him. The last thing Kojiro wants to do is violate that trust. But breathing shallowly through his mouth isn’t helping as much as he’d like; he keeps gulping down that scent, and it’s so fucking good, so fucking delicious. He wants it on his tongue.
When Kaoru's heat strikes unexpectedly at S, Kojiro helps him out, as friends do.

Typically, Kojiro tried to be as kind to people as he could manage, even if they were being difficult. Instead, he replied, “No, otherwise I wouldn’t be calling you now would I?”
