Summary
As life is leaving him, Anakin accepts his well-deserved end, finding solace in the love of his son in his last moments. But as Obi-Wan and Yoda guide him throught the Netherworld, they tell him this is not the end, and much need to be done still.
Anakin wakes up on Mortis, twenty-five years earlier, in a body he barely registers as his own, with his heart and mind in turmoil, and with decades worth of knowledge that could save the galaxy from Sidious' grasp. As time flows differently on Mortis, Anakin chooses to stay there with the Father and to finally learn how to be the Chosen One.
As he returns to Coruscant one year later, with a solid plan, unexpected allies and a power he never imagined at the tip of his fingers, he will have to face his demons and be the one the galaxy needs, no matter the price to himself.This fic was born from my undying curiosity for the Star Wars lore, and the absolute desire to see Anakin at his fully blossomed potential. It will be a hard and long path for him to be the Chosen One, but once Anakin is set on something, well we all know how it is !

Summary
Anakin can't control the Force very well at all. The Jedi seem to think everything he does with it is wrong, even just existing, really. Everyone complains that he's loud in the Force, that is, until he's put under Force suppression. It makes him ill, but it doesn't completely remove his ability to use the Force, and it gets him praise for better control. But when it wears off, he's once again scolded for lacking it.
So a 12 year old Anakin who can't seem to make any friends, in part due to Yoda's well meaning meddling that would have been fine if he was creche raised, modifies a pair of Force suppressant binders and wears them constantly from that point forward.
Obi-Wan is praised for teaching him so well.

Wei Wuxian survives the Xuanwu cave.
Unfortunately, the man who wakes up afterward would like it known that he is not Wei Wuxian, has never been Wei Wuxian, and would very much appreciate it if everyone stopped reacting as though this were somehow his fault.
He says his name is Lan Jing. He says he died centuries ago. He says this with the composed irritation of a man forced to explain an obvious clerical error.
Lan Wangji, who personally watched Wei Wuxian nearly die, is now faced with a deeply unreasonable problem: the body is Wei Wuxian’s, the voice is Wei Wuxian’s, but the person inside is a stranger with a Lan surname, ancient memories, and an alarming tendency to sound correct.
Somewhere beneath the confusion lies a buried history Cloud Recesses was never meant to remember.
Somewhere beneath Lan Jing is Wei Wuxian.

Wei Wuxian dies during the siege of the Burial Mounds thinking, at the very least, he’s earned some peace.
He’s wrong. His soul doesn’t scatter to the void. No, it’s caught, pinned, and informed – very politely – that this is what happens when you break the rules of the living and the dead in the same lifetime.“You stepped beyond mortal bounds,” he’s told. “You created an abomination that should never have existed...”
And Heaven, apparently, has time to hold a grudge.
So, as punishment: he doesn’t get to rest. Not in this afterlife. His soul becomes bound to resentment itself, condemned to rise again wherever the cry for vengeance is strong enough to drag him back. Whoever they are, whatever they’re suffering, whatever they can’t finish – that’s his problem now.
Strangers’ faces. Strangers’ lives. Strangers’ revenge plots.
He wakes in the middle of all of them, expected to put things right with whatever strength the body has left. And of course he does, because it’s not like saying “no” has ever worked out for him.
Resentment calls.
Wei Wuxian answers.And it doesn’t take long for the living to realize the Yiling Patriarch never actually stayed dead.

But retreat was no longer an option, not when each step backward cost lives - precious, dwindling lives. Wen Ruohan's monstrous army crept closer to the Impure Realm and time was bleeding away. They had to press on.

Lan Wangji is rigid, reserved, a boring fuddy-duddy who’s a complete stickler for the rules; he doesn’t smile, he doesn’t talk, and yet, Wei Wuxian couldn’t help but be drawn to him. He has tried everything, thrown out every attempt, but nothing has worked; no matter what he does, Lan Wangji just doesn’t want to be his friend.
That is until one day, after finishing one of his many detentions, Wei Wuxian spots Lan Wangji standing in the schools parking lot talking to someone else. They weren’t talking exactly, not in the usual way at least. Their hands moved in fluid, meticulous motions with practiced ease.Sign Language.
It was in that moment Wei Wuxian knew exactly how he would make Lan Wangji his friend. He just had to start practicing.
OR / Lan Wangji is Autistic and selective non-verbal, and Wei Ying is the energy-filled, talkative desk-mate who learns sign language so they can be friends!

Anakin is not the Jedi he should be. The Force feels like chaos all around him. He can’t use it the way other Jedi do. He can’t find balance or the serenity that he’s heard so many Jedi speak about. But maybe he doesn’t need to. Maybe he’s not supposed to use it the same way as the others. Maybe he’s meant to do more.
Or the one where Shmi’s death doesn’t turn Anakin to the dark side. Instead, he saves her, frees himself of the block between him and the Force, and becomes the Bad Ass Jedi he always dreamt he would be.

Sidious manipulates Anakin to believe Obi-Wan is dead, causing him to fall to the dark side much earlier than in the movies. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan and the Jedi think Anakin is dead, and that the new Sith by the name of Darth Vader is a pretty odd one.
(This is basically a shit ton of Anakin angst)
