Summary
“What is it about you that brings back their inner neanderthals?” Robin questioned with a light tone.
Nancy rolled her eyes, slightly blushing.
“The undying male need to save the girl, I guess” she shrugged.
Robin chuckled.
“Like you need any saving.” Her smile was so bright it almost blinded Nancy. Robin’s beauty always caught her off guard.
“I wouldn’t mind being saved by you.”

Summary
Takes place after the rooftop scene with Nancy, Robin, Steve, and Jonathan.
Coming back after about 14 months to Hawkins who's moved on from the upside down in only 4 months is pretty tiring. For the 4 older kids, this is basically just a short visit before they eventually go back on to their seperate lives.
Sharing one last toast before the day ends, Jonathan and Steve noticed something about their two friends that might just make their breaks a little bit more interesting.
Or
Robin and Nancy not realizing they've fallen for each other.

Summary
Lonnie never left.
But Jonathan did.
He packed his things slowly, like he was afraid the walls might remember him if he moved too fast. College brochures, thrift-store jackets, a future that didn’t fit inside that house. Joyce tried to make it feel temporary—I’ll visit, I promise, it’s just work right now—but promises became phone calls, and phone calls became texts, and texts became silence.
And Will stayed.
Someone had to.
