If he wasn't in such a bad shape, Jason would have punched Bruce just for the sake of it, to blame Batman for scaring him. Naturally, he will investigate, find who are the people forming this group, how they cornered the Bat and what weapon they used to wound him. He will make their existences a living Hell for daring shooting his dad.
But first, he's going to... save his dad. And kill him if he dares to die on him.

Summary
"How long have you known about me?" Red Hood asks instead of answering, voice modulated and unfamiliar due to the helmet. But Selina imagines that even if she could hear his real voice, she'd not recognise him at all.
Selina drops back completely, folding her arms behind her head and glaring up at the sky. There are no stars in Gotham, only the moon who bears witness to their confessions, "Since you tried to shoot me."
"Well," Jason Todd grumbles, sounding less amused, "Sorry about that, I guess."
(When Selina gets back to Gotham, she meets a ghost who's a long way from home.)

Superman stops floating, feet landing softly on the ground, how polite of him. "Batman collapsed on the thirty seventh floor of the Oceans Hotel. Superman caught him falling out the window before he hit the ground."
God, Bruce really has to find a better way to escape buildings.
Superman is evidently not done bruising Bruce's pride, as he continues, face like stone but sounding almost amused, just a hint of a southern drawl following his words, "Bruce Wayne was brought into Gotham General Hospital about five minutes later by a rescue group who found him floating around in a basket in his underwear."
"You're joking," Bruce states, rather horrified.

Summary
"You do not have to be Robin," Batman tells her carefully, voice uncharacteristically gentle when he addresses her. He's not mean, not usually, but there's always an air of urgency when they communicate, like there is a time limit following them (and in a way, maybe there is).
Stephanie swallows thickly, rubbing at her bruised knuckles, "You said Robin was important."
"To me," Bruce clarifies softly, and Stephanie feels her knees give weight, the fear of disappointing a mentor the only thing stopping her from crumbling to the ground again, "Robin is important to me. No matter who wears the colours. It doesn't have to be important to you."
(What it means to be a legacy, even for those you don't wish to carry.)

Summary
It is relief that washes off of Bruce in great waves of uncertainty. Talia relishes in it all, dipping her feet into this new sea of understanding he's letting her in on. She wonders if he even realises that she knows, that deep down;
Batman is glad the Joker is dead. Batman is even more pleased that it was not him who killed the Joker.
The air between them smells like vindication.
Talia smiles to herself, "I didn't do it for you."
(Talia al Ghul kills the Joker. This manages to solve a lot of problems.)
