Especially not when you absolutely traumatize your kid to the point where he seeks out the boy he messed up with but still desperately likes. The boy he feels the safest around, even after two years of hardly not talking.

And Zuko is left having to face the fact, that no amount of time could ever make him fall out of love with Katara.
