Nie Huaisang's eyes darted around, before settling it upwards with a mental prayer for divine intervention. It was not to be, as Jiang Wuxian and Wen Chao had pulled their swords out and looked ready to mince the other for their perceived slight. Leaving the two nemesis to duke it out among themselves, Nie Huaisang hefted the wooden crate up to relocate it somewhere more discreet.

Summary
Shen Yuan transmigrates during the previous generation of Cang Qiong, and despite being totally mediocre (or so he thinks) he ends up becoming the Head Disciple of Qing Jing Peak. Shen Yuan decides to try and live his life to the best of his ability, avoid the scum villain when he makes his inevitable appearance, and grow stronger so he can stay alive long enough to be able to see his favourite protagonist in the flesh - and then escape so he's not killed when Luo Binghe takes over the world.
But, of course, the plot has got to plot, and nothing ever goes according to plan.
