Summary
Vax is frustrated with how perfect Percy thinks he is and challenges the gunslinger to an old-fashioned fight, daggers vs. rapier. Percy thinks that Vax needs to be taught a lesson so he'll stop picking fights he can't win and indulges him. As all their heated interactions go, it's laced with sexual tension and feelings they struggle to put into words, but this time they're willing to go the distance and maybe that will help.
Or the fic of boys swordfighting and boning down that nobody really asked for but that I believed was necessary.

Summary
In the aftermath of the Briarwoods, Vax is dealing with a complex mess of feelings. He’s heartbroken over Keyleth and on the verge of leaving Vox Machina. He goes to Percy for a shoulder to cry on and an easy outlet for his feelings. But Percy is dealing with his own issues. With Orthax gone, he is being forced to confront the things the demon was helping him repress.
Will Vax be able to see past his own problems and notice Percy’s before it’s too late?
