The demon has been taking over Percy's body, bit by bit, and the more control that it seizes, the more it literally erases Percy, by covering him up: Percival is covered with tattoos and piercings that he never wanted, but now, will never go away. At this point, only his face is left, and Orthax plans to take that from him, too. They have to perform an exorcism to rid Percy of the demon, before the demon seize full control, and Percival is utterly lost...
But then, the worst case scenario happens... just as final preparations are being made, Percival is arrested. He's finally been implicated in the murders that Orthax committed while possessing him... Vax is terrified that this may seal Percy's fate... this may cost him far more than just his freedom. This may cost him his life. AND his very Soul...
