Summary
The world is dying.
Jimin feels exhausted and hopeless, but is also expected to lead the people of Ground Haven through another period of heavy rainfall until they can go back Above-Ground to trade for supplies and food. Trades have been becoming increasingly more challenging, and Jimin knows he'll need to start making difficult sacrifices soon if nothing changes.
But when wanted stranger with a huge price on his head is brought to Ground Haven, opportunities suddenly arise. With the price, however, comes a story. Red's unique blood possesses the quality to power old machinery, entire havens, and even weapons of mass destruction. Knowing this, Jimin grows conflicted on all matters right and wrong. Not only that, but he also can't shake the feeling he and Red have somehow crossed paths before.
