Summary
“No,” Ice said.
Through the sick, free-fall-through-an-abyss feeling in the pit of his stomach, he spared a moment to be amused by the look on Mav’s face. He just looked so adorably bewildered.
“But it’s…it’s not a yes or no question,” he stammered. “I—I’m breaking up with you. Have broken up with you. It’s over.”
“Yes, that’s what you said,” Ice replied blandly, projecting calm with every ounce of himself—hiding the panic he felt. “And I said no."

Summary
“We’ll need to keep it down,” he heard Maverick saying from what he assumed was the kitchen. “I had some company last night—and he’s still sleeping.”
“Oh?” That was Bradshaw’s voice, unmistakable. “Did you and Hondo stay up drinking again?”
“No, sweetheart, not that kind of company.”
“So you and Penny—? I thought you said the two of you decided it wasn’t a good idea. And wait, you said he.”
“I did say he,” Maverick confirmed. “In fact, it’s—” That was his cue, if he’d ever heard one.
Annnnd…showtime.
Post mission, Hangman came up with a plan. Phase one—seduce Maverick. Phase two—flaunt the fling in Rooster’s face. Phase three—watch Rooster simmer and stew, furious over Hangman monopolizing his father figure. Phase four—make it clear to Rooster that he’ll leave Maverick’s bed…if he can get into Rooster’s. It seemed like a flawless plan. But he didn’t know that Rooster didn’t see Mav as a father figure. He didn’t know that Rooster was in love. And he sure didn’t expect that he’d start falling, too.

The first glimpse Gary Johnson got of Pete “Maverick” Mitchell didn’t really do the man justice. But then, it’s hard to look good in a grainy printout of a Facebook photo…especially when your face has been x-ed out with a black Sharpie.

Summary
The navy has a procedure for when they need alphas to go into rut early. It’s streamlined, scientific, predictable. Unfortunately, the navy also has a Maverick—and that changes everything.
In the lead-up to the uranium assignment, Rooster and Hangman are required to rut early so their schedule doesn’t conflict with the mission. But the omega who is sent to help them might make things a little…complicated.

It wasn’t supposed to be a thing.
Jake didn’t plan it, didn’t intend for it to happen. The phone rang and he answered it, all right? Nothing weird about that. Same as anyone would have done. No different from how he’d have acted if it rang while he was shopping for groceries or going for run.
It just so happened that that time, when the phone rang, he was jerking off.

Summary
“I forgive you,” Rooster promised. “We can put all that behind us now—start over fresh. If…if that’s what you want.”
“That is everything I want,” Maverick vowed. “And I swear, no more secrets. Total honesty from now on.”
Rooster nodded, relieved. Yes, that was exactly what he needed—for Maverick to respect him enough to be open with him, no more trying to “protect” him or “shelter” him from the truth. If they’d just be honest with each other, everything else would work itself out. He was sure of it.
…Of course, in a couple of weeks, he’d look back on that certainty and shake his head at the naivete of his younger self. Man, he had no clue what he was in for.

Summary
After their blowout fight over the pulled papers, Bradley had told Maverick that he never wanted to see him again. But of course Maverick, being Maverick, had found the loophole. Rooster hadn’t seen him since then—that hadn’t stopped the man from calling, though.
My take on Rooster getting a reality check when he thinks Maverick might have died in the Darkstar crash.

Summary
Her son has his godfather wrapped around his little finger. If Bradley’s in the room, it’s hard to get Pete to pay attention to anything else. Every time she says “Do you want to hold him?” his face lights up as if she said “Do you want this Lamborghini?”
He has Bradley in his arms at the moment, the baby snuggled into his chest, fast asleep, little hands fisted in the front of his shirt like Bradley wants to make sure he won’t even think of pulling away.

Summary
Maverick was sitting on a full house and was living for the moment when he could lay them down and wipe that smirk off of Hollywood’s face when the call came in, interrupting poker night at Ice’s place with the guys. There was so much laughing and trash talking that he didn’t actually hear the phone ringing—wasn’t aware that anything might be wrong until Sarah stepped into the room, her eyes wide with shock and apprehension.
Teenage omega Bradley is roofied into a forced heat. Maverick makes it better.

Summary
So the thing was, Rooster had a type. Short, older, well-built men with pretty faces, dark hair, and green eyes. Three of those traits in one package was all it took to get him scurrying off his perch and diving in for the kill. Four or five, and he became a completely different person—fierce and focused like Hangman had never seen. And if a guy happened to check every box? Wow. Just wow.
Because really, the thing was—Hangman had a type, too. And it happened to coincide with Rooster’s. (Well, at first it just intersected with Rooster’s—he liked older men, liked dark hair and light eyes, was less picky about height and build—but now it coincides. You bet your ass it does now.)

Summary
“Mav,” Bradley murmured, looking up at him with wide, dilated eyes from across the engine they were rebuilding. The boy’s mouth hung open a little and he couldn’t seem to stop licking his lips. “You… It smells like…” He swallowed hard, eyes shutting briefly as he tried to pull himself together. “Mav, are you going into heat?” he managed to blurt out.
Shit.
Mav goes into heat while visiting Carole and a sixteen-year-old Bradley. Ice rides to the rescue, Bradley fumes, and Mav remains deeply, deeply oblivious to what's really going on. Technically, set nineteen years before "Needs Must," but I'd still recommend reading that one first.

Summary
“I can only imagine what you must be feeling right now,” Admiral Simpson said. To his credit, he sounded mostly sincere. But then, he’d always been clear about admiring Iceman. It was Maverick who he couldn’t stand. “Take some time, whatever you need.”
“I appreciate that, sir,” Maverick said, “but there’s no time. The mission—”
“No, I’ll be taking over the training from here.”
Maverick froze. “…Sir?”
“We both know you can’t stay on active duty, captain. An omega is only allowed to serve if they’re bonded.”

Summary
Maverick was the hottest guy he’d ever seen—hotter than any movie star, hotter than any porn star, and way the hell hotter than anyone Bradley was likely to find in a tiny town in the back of beyond. Besides, Bradley had felt so furious, so betrayed by Mav—by the last person he’d thought would ever let him down—that it had felt like a filthy kind of justice, fantasizing about fucking him, using him, treating him like a slut in a skin film. Imagining holding him down and not letting him go. Making him take it, making him moan for it, beg for it—come from it. So yeah, it was fucked up to fantasize about his godfather, but he was thirty-four years old and had been getting off hard to every filthy scenario he could imagine that involved Maverick stuffed full of his cock since he was seventeen. Thirty-four years old, and he’d spent half of his life with Maverick as his bulletproof kink, the thought that got him hotter faster than anything else.

Summary
The first time was an accident.
When Roy and Keeley walked into the restaurant, of course they have no idea that it was the same place Jamie had chosen for his date. It wasn’t like they were invested in how his date went. Why would they be? Go on. Fucking say why Roy should care. That’s right—he shouldn’t, and he didn’t. The love life of one Jamie Tartt was none of Roy Kent’s fucking business, and that was exactly how it was going to stay.
Sort of.
Post S2E11: Roy and Keeley work to help Jamie get over his feelings. Results are...mixed.

He’s in Roy Kent’s arms.
Which…you know, childhood dream and all. Cause that poster was right where he could see it from his bed, wasn’t it? And when he was alone in that bed, and the moonlight slanted over that scowling face just right, it was pretty easy to imagine the hands doing some wandering under the sheets weren’t his own—and it felt so shivery-good, thinking of that rough, growling voice in his ear, telling him he was good, was perfect, was…
Well, never mind that.

Summary
“…swear to God, Maria, it was the best sex of my life.”
The voice sounds impossibly close, like someone’s talking right in his ear. A subtle glance around shows him that no one’s standing behind him. It takes a minute of looking around to even figure out who’s talking.
Annnnnd there, sitting over on the other side of the café. Mark figures it’s one of those weird acoustic things where some quirk of the architecture means that if you stand in the right spot, you can hear what someone says from the exact right spot thirty feet away. There’s Not-Maria, talking to Maria over to the side where Not-Maria probably thinks no one can hear them.
Mark starts to put back in his headphones, but stops. This sounds like it could be interesting. Best sex of her life, huh?
From the tsn-kinkmeme prompt: Mark overhears two women talking about sex in a café. One of them is describing the sex she had last night in a very favourable light and Mark is getting kind of turned on against his better judgement. Until he realises she slept with a man called Eduardo who sounds very much like someone he knew.

Piling three pillows, the comforter, the blanket, and all the towels Hermione had given him on top of his head nearly made Draco suffocate, but they didn’t block the sound of Blaise and Hermione having sex in the next room.
If Draco had to listen to them much longer, he knew he might start preferring suffocation.
