Summary
The hysterical laughter stole every coherent thought from Buck and crawled into his bones; his heart thudded and he stared at the doll in disbelief. Then, as suddenly as it had started, the laughter stopped; leaving an eerie silence. Buck stood frozen, his thoughts like thick mud, staring at that stupid doll.
He completely missed the huge hole in the wall above the tub. He missed the shadow standing there, watching him from behind the hole with cold eyes and a malicious smile.Bookmarked by Emmy521

Summary
By the time his last class rolls around, Eddie is on the verge of tears. He fucked up. He never should’ve bothered with college, this clearly isn’t the right path for him. He’s rounding the corner, ready to get this last class over with and then call it a day when it’s like a wall materializes in front of him. He smacks into it, stumbling and nearly falling until two callused hands grip his upper arms, steadying him.
“W-whoa, sorry man. I did not see you there.”
Startled, Eddie glances up. He’s met with bright blue eyes, blinking at him sheepishly. Something in Eddie's face must show the close proximity he is to a breakdown because the look shifts to concern, and the man doesn't let go of him.
“Hey, you okay?”

Summary
“May, I, uh, don’t know if- if they’ll get here in time. My jeep was pushed off the road, I’m hanging on by the guardrail mangled under the backend somehow.”
“You’re gonna be fine.” She said firmly. “You will, Bobby will be there soon and will get you out, Buck.”
“Always liked how optimistic you were.” Buck chuckled. “A lot like me. Hard to keep that optimism and hope for yourself, but able to share it with anyone and everyone around you. Because it’s more important that they stay happy and content then-”
“Stop.” May’s voice cracked. “Stop, please. You’re- you’re like my big brother, ok? And you’re getting out of this. You are.”
“Ok, May.” Buck sighed. “Can I ask a favor?”
“Yeah.” She agreed easily.
“Can- can you get Eddie? Just- there’s some things that need said. Just in case, ya know?”

Summary
“Doesn’t it also show you people you’re related to?” Chris asked, “Maybe you have a long lost uncle or something.”
Buck pulled up that section of the report and scanned through it, but the longer he looked at it the more confused he became, he didn’t know who anyone was on there. And then he spotted a name that was far too familiar, “Holy fucking shit.”
“What?” Eddie asked, trying to find what had elicited that response from his partner. Buck just pointed at the name which also resulted in a “Fucking hell.” From Eddie.
“That’s got to be wrong.” Buck said, “There’s no way that’s true.”
“DNA doesn’t lie, Buck.” Eddie replied.
“Yeah, but, you’re seeing this too right? That can’t be true.”
“I mean, it makes sense.” Chris piped up, “I assumed that was the case when I first met you.”
“Yeah, but, like, Bobby can’t be my Dad.”
Or
After taking an ancestry test, Buck finds out the Buckley's aren't his real parents.
