Marinette esta cansanda, luego de años de lucha aun no esta cerca de derrotar a Hawmoth, ñadele a eso la llegada de una aparente mitomana obsecionada con arruinar su vida civil y podemos decir que el que aun no atrajera ninguna mariposa era un milagro en si mismo, pero si las cosas continuaban por el rumbo en el que iban, eso no se mantendria por mucho más tiempo.
Es luego de un incidente especialmente devastador que llega a la conclusión de que quedarse en Paris es demaciado peligroso, motivandola a tomar la decision de buscar un lugar nuevo para vivir y Gotham City parecia ser la ciudad indicada.

She was not trained, she couldn’t even fall correctly, but she was smart, agile, a born tactician. If nothing else, Damian knew that he needed to follow her. She would be an invaluable asset to him and the League itself.
