He sees just how far the Hightower plot has infiltrated the Red Keep and just how far reaching the consequences of his own blindness will be for his daughter. Resolved to save Rhaenyra from her future fate, the fire residing in his heart, which had been dormant for so long, is roused. He will ensure his enemies never forget why you should never wake the dragon.
