Summary
Sometimes the darkness she crossed an ocean and a continent to escape sneaks between the cracks and threatens to drag Blake down. Sometimes she feels like she’s speaking in a different language, or walks on a slightly different plane of existence from the people around her. Ilia says Blake is doing ok— but if she is, why is it so hard for her to talk to the beautiful girl who comes into the coffee shop? And why can’t she find a model for her final thesis portfolio?
Yang clings fiercely to her public image, even the not-so-flattering parts of it. She does her best to ignore her sister and Pyrrha, who tell her that she deserves something more than just living day to day. The accident that marked the end of her old life and the start of the new left painful scars on her body and her heart. Maybe life is better if it’s simple.
She’s about to find out that being friends (or something more) with a strange, cute barista is about as far from simple as she can get. When you get down to it, we all have our faults. It’s what you do with them that people remember.

Summary
Yang dies. She wakes up. She fights. She dies. The world stays the same, the situations barely change. Yang wakes up, she fights, she dies. She also falls in love — one repeated day at a time — with the one woman on Remnant who could possibly understand, even if her memories of Yang are erased with each reset. (Yang gets used to the dying, not so much the look in Blake’s eyes that marks her as a stranger.)

Everyone’s looking for something on the Remnant Cross-Continental Trail. Hiking from one end of Sanus to the other is no small feat. Most seek adventure, some go looking for themselves. Over what feels like the longest and shortest months of their lives they confront past demons and admit to harsh truths. They start to find themselves in the trail and in each other along the way.

Summary
Blake never believed in soulmates, the concept just didn't make sense to her. Was it the person's soul or their life experiences that made them a perfect match for her? What would it mean if major events forever changed who her soulmate was before they even met? If there are alternate versions of her soulmate for every season, how many will Blake have to meet, care for, and fall in love with before her soul recognizes its other half?

Summary
“Just ask for Yang and tell her I sent you, she’ll get you all set up!” Ruby’s words ran through her head as she stepped out of her car in the gym parking lot. Her book club was the last place she expected to get advice about getting into boxing, but of course, the events in her life always had a hint of irony. Having a world champion boxer with the gentlest disposition for a father but falling for a scrappy street fighter with a wicked smile, rose-tinted glasses stopping her from seeing his disposition was anything but gentle. Why would the irony stop even after she had realized how it ran as deep as the bruises she’d had to hide.

Summary
Blake hated the summer. It meant being home, working in a shitty (un-airconditioned) ice cream truck, and dealing with human tourists. That's until one of the tourists throws her for a bit of a loop. Captivated by a charming smile and eyes that speak to her soul, Blake sees the start of something different with Yang. She just has to take that leap of faith, and hope it pays off.

Summary
Yang’s life could be summarized into a simple routine: Get up in the afternoon in order to make it to her evening college classes before heading to her dead end job working the graveyard shift, and be home around 4 in the morning. Rinse and repeat. There was hardly any break from her norm, that is unless one counted her younger sister invading her apartment at least once a week. Otherwise it was simple, basic and utterly boring.
So of course that all changes when she decides to pick up some fast food on the way home one night, only to discover that she picked up more than just a greasy burger.
((Or the pet shop au no asked for staring: Hopelessly Gay Yang, who doesn’t know the first thing about talking to a pretty girl let alone taking care of a cat))
