“Wh-“ Roy stammers, disbelief lacing his voice. “Did you just fake it?”
The words make Riza feel as if someone has just poured a glass of ice water over her head. Her body goes tense as shame and anxiety rise in her throat. Oh. Oh, no. No, no, no. This isn’t how it was supposed to go. Roy wasn’t supposed to figure it out- no one else ever has. But of course he would. He’s not like anyone else. She just stares back at him, honey-hued eyes blown wide.
How the hell did he even figure it out? What gave her away? Is he that in tune with her signals after all of these years? No, it shouldn’t be possible- they haven’t even had sex before tonight. So how is this happening…?
“Um,” Her mouth starts to move before her brain fully catches up to what’s happening. “No…?”
It’s a pathetic lie, weak and transparent. Her voice is thin, not even trying. The moment Roy asked that horrible question, Riza had known deep down that she’d been caught and that there was no coming back from it.

Alternatively, after years of faking orgasms for incompetent lovers, Riza learns that faking won't work nearly as well when it comes to Roy.
