And don’t even think about checking your phone, I will be watching closely. This is not an open book quiz, Lan Zhan, so no cheating!”
“You are absurd,” Lan Zhan huffs, “...I work next on Tuesday evening,” and with that he hauls his instruments inside without another word.
Or the one in which workaholic and single dad Wei Wuxian tries to do something just for himself. And, Lan Wangji, who is working as a bartender to pay for school, tries to find his way in the world. They fall in love in the process.

“No, I heard that. But–” Wei Ying glances at the extremely pretty man, who’s just staring at him, completely still. His empty hands hover in the air. “I don’t need anyone to take care of me. I just wanna go home."
“You are going home,” Yanli reaches over and tucks his hair behind his ear, giving him a tiny smile. “Don’t worry. Just a few more scans, and then Lan Zhan can take you back."
“Who’s Lan Zhan?” he asks.
The pretty man by his side inhales so sharply Wei Ying feels the air get sucked out of the room.

Lan Wangji is coughing up flowers. Wei Wuxian is going out of his mind to find a cure. In a last ditch attempt to save him, he casts a curse to erase that person from his memory.
He's not prepared for Lan Wangji to wake up and ask, "Who are you?"

Lan Zhan watches as Wei Ying's eyes track down his body until… "Lan Zhan," he says quietly. "What is that on your finger?"
Lan Zhan frowns and looks down. "That," he says, then stops. Something cold trickles down the back of his neck. "That is a ring." His eyes automatically go to Wei Ying's left hand, where… "Wei Ying."
Wei Ying, being the brilliant man that he is, is already ahead of him. "Holy shit."
Lan Zhan clears his throat.
They are in Las Vegas. And now they have rings on their fingers.
There is only one explanation for this. One simple, idiotic, ridiculous explanation.
"We got fucking married?!"
