He pulls out three copies of a presentation and reaches over to slide one across the table to Pedri. Out of the corner of his eye, Pedri sees a sliver of skin as the seam of Gavi’s pale blue shirt comes untucked under his suit jacket.”
Pedri has built his startup from scratch into an eight-figure enterprise. Now, the young hotshot CEO is suddenly confronted with an existential threat: a takeover offer from a private equity fund led by Jude Bellingham. Summary
A second of carelessness. That's what caused Pedri to miss the pace of his run and support his leg awkwardly, his muscle pulling when he tried to take the next step, stepping wrongly because of his boot cleats tangled in the grass. A tearing but all too familiar pain took over his body as he tried to force the next move, his eyes widening in disbelief and outrage.
“No, no, no…” He brings his hands up to his thigh, the muscle burning under his touch, he desperately pulls the black fabric of his shorts up to get a good look at his likely injury, even though it’s obviously not visible under the skin layer. “Not again, please!”

Fer kind of begs Pablo to come home. Go back to Pedri , he doesn't say. And Gavi is a weak man, totally surrendered by anything that involves Pedri, who can't spend another day away from his boyfriend, so he accepts. Pablo doesn't tell him that he's not welcome at home, or that Pedri doesn't talk to him, that he doesn't answer his messages or a damn smoke signal. Because it doesn't matter what Pedri said the other day. Gavi will return home and help make things better for his boyfriend.Series

It’s not the first time Pedri has been mistaken for a Masia boy, and it wouldn’t be the last.
And it’s okay. It’s not like it was an offensive slur. Quite the opposite. Pedri was raised too nicely to not be grateful for his stunningly good luck and his role as an unshakable starter for the team since the age of 18, but something in his head nudges him slightly every time this happens.
Despite everything, Catalans are justifiably biased. Players made in La Masia are always special, given more opportunities and preferential treatment. They’re greeted by the long “Oléééééé!” when stepping onto the pitch for the very first time. Their mistakes are more tolerated. They’re more popular around the neighborhood, more doted on, and more loved.
And he will never be one of them.
