Summary
“Not a lot of maidens left on Berk.” She shook her head, and stole the next piece of carrot from the board and crunched it loudly, knowing how much the noise would bother him.
“I can tell.” Horrendous looked her up and down, thinking about that silly white dress she'd meant to save for the altar, expecting Helena to take the kitchen knife and stab him, or at least deliver a punch to the gut for his quip, but she delivered no blow.
