Gris pulls a shirt from the dryer, shakes it once and lays it in the basket tucked under his arm.
“No.”
Enjin pouts as he leans against the doorway, his shoulders spanning most of the frame.
“You don’t even know what I’m going to ask.”
“And I don’t need to know,” Gris says patiently, smiling as Enjin further smooshes his lips in a pout. “It’s the first Friday of the month, and you want me to race Sheila. No.”

Summary
So… Enjin knows himself, and he knows he is not someone suited to dealing with children. Piercing cries, overwhelming tantrums, and the strange language they seem to speak all confuse him, wear down his patience, and -at worst- make him feel useless and out of place. And yet, through a series of unforeseen incidents, he ends up becoming the babysitter of the youngest member of the Akuta team.
OR; Rudo turns into a four-year-old child.

A rough mission where Rudo finds himself bloodied and bruised. Was it the trash beasts? Was it lingering trauma? The mourning of someone that wasn't here anymore? Or simply stress? Zanka and Riyo bear witness to Rudo's vulnerability.
