he smiled, just a little, amused by the irony. junghwan was trying. actually trying. and for some reason, that made youngjae want to hear more.junghwan’s voice softened as he admitted it, almost casual, like he was confessing something he’d kept tucked away for too long. “i like men. i mean… i wasn’t hiding it,” he smirked, but his eyes were serious. “i don’t do things halfway, though. when i care about someone, i give them everything. sometimes… i love until it hurts.”

“Is this how you always get what you want?” Dohoon asked, leaning against the counter as they waited for the popcorn to finish.
Jihoon glanced at him, eyes wide with feigned innocence. “I don’t know what you mean, hyung.”
Dohoon chuckled low in his throat. “Sure, you don’t.”
He stepped closer, slow and deliberate, then slid in behind Jihoon, letting his chin rest lightly on the younger boy’s shoulder. Jihoon stiffened for a second, then instinctively leaned back into him.
“See?” Dohoon murmured, amused. “You do know what I mean.”
Jihoon’s breath hitched.
“And you’re pretty greedy, too,” Dohoon went on, lips brushing the shell of his ear now. “Considering you already had Junghwan hyung all to yourself and still wanted me here.”

Continuing, Mingyu takes a step toward him. “Given your background– and your impressive resume in the military– we’d like you to take him out. Preferably, as quietly as possible.”
“I’m in,” Dohoon says instantly. Mingyu seems a little taken aback, as if he hadn’t expected Dohoon to agree so quickly. “I’ll do it. I– yeah. I’ll do it.”
“Okay,” replies Mingyu, nodding. He pushes the CLASSIFIED folder across the table, towards Dohoon. “All the information we have for you will be in that case file.”
Dohoon picks it up, opens the folder.
A face he knows all too well stares back at him.
