With Luo Binghe in his side chamber, he could keep him and his scent close.
However, when the white lotus turned eighteen and started to present, Shen Qingqiu realised that he might have kept Luo Binghe a little too close. Even a beta got into trouble when the protagonist went into rut.

Summary
The system was cruel. Even after helping Luo Binghe through his rut, accepting his mark, deepening the white lotus' trust in him, Shen Qingqiu still had to throw him into the Endless Abyss. Afterwards, as he was mourning the loss of his innocent white lotus, his circumstances turned even more dire when he discovered that he was pregnant. Now, not only did he have to fear the blackened protagonist's return, but he also had to hide their baby, fearing that the child's relation to him would not bode well for his safety.
(This is the sequel to "Hidden omega", the first work in this series. Even though it is a continuation, this sequel can be read as a stand-alone. This is also the last work in this series.)
