“That’s better.” Neil tightens the tie, a proud grin on his face.

Todd blinks. He swallows thickly, pushing a gasp down his throat. Neil stares back at him with warmth, thoroughly unaware of what he’s done. He simply pats Todd’s shoulder and walks away. “See you in Keating's, Todd!”

In which Neil doesn't understand personal space, and Todd is trying his very best to survive it.

Leon’s not sure when his job description started to include ‘glorified babysitter for rich assholes’.

That’s his life: trying to make sure you don’t get killed by a drug dealer or fall out a window while sneaking out or pass out drunk at a house party.

The life of a federal agent is fucking glamorous.

    “Stop teaching Mihawk gross shit.”

“What the hell does that mean?”

Zoro leans against one of the sofas in the room, swords tucked under his arm.

“Earlier I heard him on the transponder snail talking to you-know-who and he said ‘I will rizz you up so terribly you won’t know what hit you.’ I don’t know what that means, but the way you-know-who laughed made me think it’s something gross. Which obviously means Mihawk learnt it from you, so quit it.”

Perona looks shifty, her eyes everywhere but on Zoro.

    “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

    Or,
Perona has been teaching Mihawk slang to “help the swordsman stay relevant”. It does not go down well for Zoro.
