“Okay, Buck. You bought a house.”

Buck's always easy for Eddie. Which, again, is the reason why they're in this predicament. Eddie holds up his glass for Buck to clink his against. "Congratulations, Buck. You're going to be a father."
Eddie's expecting a lot of possible emotions. He's not expecting sheer horror. Buck manages to choke out, "You're dying?”
Buck's into the bargaining stage, saying that they'll talk to doctors and do everything they can for him before Eddie's brain comes back online and he interrupts Buck. "I'm pregnant."
Buck's eyes widen. That's a lot more like the reaction Eddie planned for. Hoped for, even. “Ed–Eddie.”
Eddie, for the first time all day, lets his hands settle over his stomach. Right now, there’s a baby in there. His and Buck’s.
Buck knocks Eddie up. This isn't the first time Eddie's faced an unplanned pregnancy with a best friend. He's determined not to repeat his mistakes, but that's easier said than done.

He kept repeating Eddie was straight like a mantra, a reminder that he could not have what he wanted and therefore he shouldn’t ever talk or express his feelings to Eddie because he was not going to ruin their friendship and be the stereotype of the queer guy that falls in love with a straight man. No, he refused.
But now, he was in love with a gay man.
Eddie was gay.
The man he loved was into men, single, sleeping on the same bed as him every day they weren’t on shift, and humping his ass every night while asleep.
Or, Buck and Eddie start sharing the bed while Buck finds a new place after the Díaz come back from Texas. Eddie also starts cuddling Buck and humping his ass in his sleep, but Buck has no complaints.
