Summary
Emma doesn't remember much of her past, all she knows is she needs to get out of Misthaven. The mysterious group called the Industrialists continues to gain power and control since they overthrew the royal family over a decade ago. Out of options, Emma joins forces with a conman Killian and his partner Ruby in their plot to pass her off as the lost princess of Misthaven. Summary
In a moment of sheer instinct, Jinu ran towards her instead of the exit, pretending to attack from the front so that his body covered her shoulder from her friends. He worked fast, tearing a slice from his shirt and tying it tightly around her arm, pressing her head to his chest to keep her hidden behind the bulk of his body.
“What are you doing?” She hissed, fighting to free her arms from his embrace as he secured the knot.
“Saving you, dumbass!” He hissed at her slack jawed expression. “Hold still!”
He tugged on the knot, making sure it would hold, and then gave her a small push, just enough to make it look like she had shoved him off of her, and raced out of the bathhouse, catching up with the rest of the Saja boys with his mind reeling from his discovery.
Or, a retelling of Kpop demon hunters with a few missing moments sprinkled into the story, along with the happy ending that all the characters deserve.
Chapter nine can also be read as a standalone oneshot for the aquarium date.
