Normally, she’d dismiss this worst case scenario on principle, because her friends love her too much to subject her to this particular form of torture. But Ridoc, sweet, funny Ridoc, happens to be dating the cousin of Violet’s worst case scenario, and that complicates things.
“Ridoc,” Violet says, “Big girl voice.”
“I need you to come pick me up with Xaden Riorson.”
