Vampires weren’t exactly invisible in society, but they were feared and discriminated against here. They technically didn’t have rights. His parents had loved Wooyoung before they even knew what he was, so breaking the news to them when San moved in with him had gone fairly smoothly. They would come around for dinner once a month and Wooyoung would cook for them and they’d play games and it all felt just completely normal. Whatever passed for normal these days.
Wooyoung didn't use his thrall on him. He knew this. He'd told him he didn't. That he had never. San was just totally gone for him. He had autonomy. He wasn't trapped. He was fine.
