Summary
Dina swings one leg out of the window, hooking the rolled cuff of her jeans against the siding momentarily, and Ellie’s heart freezes. If Dina falls, every aspect of their plan is going to fall apart. Dina will be grounded for even longer, Jesse will be double-grounded (because he has two parents- this seems logical to her) and Joel is never going to let her hang out with either of them again, not even Jesse, who he says all the time is “a good influence”, whatever that means anyway.
dina sneaks out, jesse really tries to help and ellie is drunk and stupidly in love.

“I’m Dina,” the other kid jumps in, and Joel can pinpoint the exact second it registers for Ellie. It’d be funny if it weren’t so embarrassing for her.
The minute her eyes turn to the girl in front of her, her eyebrows shoot up and she blushes, just a little. If she weren’t so pale, he might not have known, but as it was, it becomes obvious very quickly.
“Williams,” Ellie blurts out. “Wait, no, Ellie. My name is Ellie Williams. I’m- uh, sorry.”

“Well,” Pavitr puts a hand on his chin. Behind them, the rest of the Spider-people take care of the Goblin anomaly. “I am cooler than most people. Let me think about this. How do I manage to be this amazing?”
“Take your time,” Gwen says. “I’m sure this would take you all day.”
