Summary
Artemy Burakh,
I hope this letter finds you well; or finds you at all, for that matter. Considering the circumstances of our last meeting, I did not have time to become familiar with the quality of your town’s postal system. Hopefully, it is looking better there these days.
I’m writing to you on a matter that I fear nobody else can assist me with. I have recently come down with a strange affliction, and have run out of possible explanations. Be assured, it is not the return of the Pest nor any of its derivatives, however, I fear you may regardless be the only one with insight into my present condition.
I am aware we have not always gotten along in the past, and I am to blame for a large sum of that animosity, so I pray now that you find it in your heart to offer me, at the least, your counsel. The train that I will take will arrive on the fifteenth of February. Should you decide to accept my plea, I would ask you kindly to meet me then.
Until then, Haruspex.
With Respect,
Daniil Dankovsky, Bachelor of Medicine.

Summary
The thing about plastic chairs is that they weren't a great substitute for an actual bed; the other thing is, Robert can't exactly afford to be picky and even if he 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 the internal debate is still ongoing as to whether or not he deserves a mattress at this current point in his life.
So, the plastic chair stays and is staying for the foreseeable future. Besides, it's charming - in a depressing, minimalism-that-is-totally-not-a-reflection-of-his-inner-sense-of-worth way.
Or:The fic where Robert has chronic pain and Flambae has warm hands. The two of them will figure out what to do about that eventually, right?

Summary
“If you’re not interested, you can just say that. I probably came on too strong with the whole… ‘fucking you until you cry’ speech.”
“You also called me an annoying bitch. Real mixed signals. I don’t know what to think.”
“You’re hilarious. How about we start with the home cooked meal and see where that goes? Come over tomorrow. I’m an excellent cook.”
“And humble, too.”
“Fuck you, Robert.”
“Not on the first date.”
“I think I changed my mind. You’re too annoying.” There was a pause. “No but really, come over tomorrow.”
aka Flambae and Robert get drunk and hook up. Robert definitely doesn't regret anything and the team is very normal about it. Surprisingly, that's not where it ends.

Summary
“What’s the premise of the show, for our viewers who may only just be hearing about it?”
“Well,” Freddie says, putting a hand on Chilton’s arm that looks friendly, but is certainly a warning; “There are so many reality shows nowadays where the drama and tension comes from the interaction of the contestants. But there is no real depth to it. We wanted to expand on the existing formula, really get outside the box and watch it collapse.”
Amanda laughs, brow creasing. “Sounds ambitious.”
“Oh, it is,” Chilton says, smiling wide and slick. “The idea is this; everyone has a secret. Something they would never confess to anyone else. Modern psychology would tell us that these secrets shape how people behave. We wanted to take a group of brilliant people who are all hiding something, and see if they can remove the smoke and mirrors and really get at the essence of each other.”
“So, it’s like a murder mystery dinner meets reality TV.”

Summary
The Town and the Kin, an Odongh had once whispered, were sewn together wrong. The plague had torn those old connections apart, and it was left to Artemy Burakh to suture the severed halves back together in a better way. Blood could, and would, flow through them as one common body. And it would, and must, start with solidarity.
This, too, could be its own form of utopia.
—
In which Artemy unionises the Termitary workers, organises a strike, and finds a new way to unite the Town.

Summary
Wayne doesn’t poach, because poaching’s just a fancy word for stealing a heart, and he doesn’t steal (anymore). But he might trade for a heart, if he can find something of equal value to swap it with.
In which MeLaan ends her fling with Wayne early, Marasi meddles in matters of the heart, and everyone gets a much happier ending for it.
