When Bertie bumps into an old friend from Oxford while on holiday, he and Jeeves are quickly thrown into an intrigue of ill-advised courting attempts and a questionable use of braincells that rival even Bertie’s most notorious track records. Summary
Just when Han Joo Won and Lee Dong Sik had started to break down the walls they had built for themselves, a new one comes between them as Dong Sik is sentenced to prison and Joo Won leaves to serve in the military. Overcome by a sense of loss and desperate to keep up some form of contact with the older man, Joo Won starts a correspondence with him. Dong Sik, as always, is not the easiest to deal with, let alone understand. But Joo Won tries nonetheless.

Struggling to find his place with these new thoughts, he receives a letter from Erebor that invites him to come over to help with the foreign affairs. There he meets with the still recovering Thorin, not entirely unchanged himself, who has observed some of that which burdens his friend.
