Summary
Joran likes to think he has a healthy respect for the value of consent in a relationship. Consent is kind of like the foundation of a building, as far as Joran is concerned. Everything is built on top of that foundation, and if the foundation is shoddy, then the whole damn thing is going to fall over.
As a result of his healthy respect for consent, Joran is really, really sorry for this whole kidnapping mess.
