Summary
If you're like me you've probably thought about what might have happened if Mr Plant hadn't been there to rescue Argos and The Scouts, so here's my take on how that might have gone.
This mostly stemmed from me wanting more angst fanfics for twomp so I decided to take matters into my own hands and make myself suffer, for funsies!!

Summary
Ryland Grace saved the earth about 30 years ago; For him, it's only felt like 8. Time works differently in space, however the loneliness stays the same. Of course he loves the Eridians, though the strangling desire for human connection has only worsened as he’s grown older— and not aged. Erid's keeping its savior alive, and Ryland hates it.
It manifests into dreams, sick and cruel dreams of a man who could give Ryland everything he ever wanted. As long as the teacher didn’t mind the torment it came with.
So after eight years, he, Rocky, and Adrian embark on a trip light years away from Erid in the hopes of locating the Pavo Constellation, home to a star system full of iron, worship, and desperation. Perhaps they can revive Pavo’s dwindled stars? Locate the man who lingers just behind Grace’s eyes?
Something lurks beyond the cosmos, something that seems to be causing all of Ryland’s frenzied dreams. A man and a monster all the same, perhaps the exact one he promised to save.
