There is this reality of everyone having a breaking point. That there will come a time where one is forced to face their limits and in all honesty? There is no shame in that. However, Knuckles had prided himself in being able to withstand anything. To stand mighty regardless of what hardships life would fling at his feet. Like a mountain, he would take the hits and still come out on top. But what he failed to realize, is that even mountains, unconquerable as they may seem, were bound to be worn down over time. By wind… by water… by any other form of influence. Whatever it be internal or external. Layer by layer. piece by piece. They crumble and break, until enough had been taken away for it all to come crashing down in one massive, ear-shattering collapse.

Summary
Eggman built a machine, which he needed the Master Emerald for. He wanted to use it on Sonic, but accidently hit Shadow and Knuckles. This caused them to lose all their memories. As they woke up in Eggman's base, the mad scientist feeds lies about Sonic into their heads in order to make them work for him. But… not all lies were about the hedgehog alone, though.

It was supposed to be quick and easy. A harmless scout mission, basically. But when their electronic map gave out, Shadow and Knuckles found themselves lost in a dense forrest for hours. While one stayed rather unbothered by it, the other was close to loosing his last nerves. It just wasn´t his day.
