Summary
On the Way of the Proud Demon Immortal, Luo Binghe's adoptive mother passes away from a terrible disease due to the wear and tear on her body and the unhealthy conditions in her daily life. In the original plot, Luo Binghe does not know that she is dead until he gets home after being beaten by the young master without having gotten even a bit of congee. The injuries caused by the beatings robbed him of time to say goodbye to his mother. Poverty and injustice made the woman perish in bed without any help, thus beginning the hardships of the poor protagonist.
However, in this story, something different happens...
